Celebrities, Twitter react to 'The Interview' news
First, a small group of theaters decided on Wednesday to pull their screenings of "The Interview" in the wake of hackers' threats on movie theaters that screened the film, which stars Seth Rogen and James Franco. Next Regal Cinemas, Cinemark, Cineplex and AMC Theatres pulled theirs. Then Sony Pictures Entertainment decided to pull all screenings of the movie on Dec. 25. Finally, federal authorities determined that hackers working on behalf of the North Korean government were behind the attack on Sony, according to reports. And, as always, people turned to Twitter.
